The library has many different Bible dictionaries.

There are several ways to find them all:

  • Perform a simple keyword search in the online catalog for Bible dictionaries. View the results; find on shelves.
  • Perform a specific keyword search for the particular Bible dictionary that you need. Find it on the shelf.
  • Ascertain that the call number for Bible dictionaries is 220.3. Browse the shelves in this area in both the Reference (2nd floor, where we keep the most current and necessary reference) and the regular 1st floor shelves.
  • Ask a reference librarian for help in person or in email for more immediate, particular assistance, and we will be happy to show you to the materials you need.

Bible dictionary assignments are popular with the RE101 courses. We try to maintain communication with the RE101 professors so they do not assign things we do not have. Please ask for assistance when needed and also note we keep some things on reserve as many students need to use them--so check out the catalog page to be sure your dictionary is where you think it is.
